About the author
Meet Evan Ripple
Evan Ripple is a young author and illustrator from Southern Maryland and the creative force behind Ripple & Stickman Studios, officially established in 2022.
Evan has been creating stories and artwork for years and has hundreds of creations. The Adventures of Duck & Patty: Stalker’s Spaceship Heist is his first published book.
Evan’s love of stories began when he was very young. He loved being read to, and once he learned to read, he couldn’t get enough of reading to others. He even enjoyed reading to a special friend on the bus to help her learn to read.
Evan also began drawing at an early age. Before long, he started adding words to his artwork and creating his own comics and books with paper and pencil. At age 11, he began learning to use an iPad to create his artwork and comics digitally.
Evan draws inspiration from his favorite authors, newspaper comics, films, and — most of all — his imagination. He hopes his own creative journey will inspire other young artists to put their greatest adventures on paper.
A LITTLE HISTORY
Evan established Ripple & Stickman Studios in 2022 as the home for his artwork, characters, comics, and stories.
In 2024, Evan registered his work with the U.S. Copyright Office, another milestone on the road to bringing the Duck & Patty universe to life.
